Yes, my computer got screwed up ... again!
That's why I "vanished" again. This is what the boys at the shop found:
- 46 viruses
- 290 spyware
- 43 adware
They used the best software to erradicate them, to no avail. They had to format my hard drive, reinstall Windows and replace the data they backed up. They also installed all of the latest "anti" software.
Ironically, I caught all this bad stuff while downloading an antivirus! The god of computers must be laughing his ass off.
The guys that fixed my beast did a fantastic job. They even managed to save all my downloaded music and all of my work. So I'm sending a shout out to Emmanuel, Hugo, Konstantine, Bohdan and everyone else working at Danta International. The only thing they couldn't fix was my paranoia of going on the Net again.
I'd also like to give a ginormous thanks to Len, Tony B. and Tinkerbell for never giving up and contributing to this Blog every day. Thanks to everyone who sent me b-day greetings even though it was in a chain mail kinda format (except Dominic Granada - "I thought he was dead" - I'm sure!).
The rest of you who contacted me via e-mail, I will be contact you ASAP. I still have to reinstall all of my software - stupid *@%$~>#$.
I'm trying to see this as a new begining. It's actually hard to do. The hole left in my pocket because of this repair is going to slow down my plans to return to school. Anyone still praying please include me in your prayers. That's all I ask.

"Not Deleted"?! What kind of nickname is that? It's as if I called myself "File Not Available" or somethin'. Still, it's kinda creative. If I haven't answered your e-mail I'm very sorry. When the "Monster" was up and running again I had 456 e-mails waiting for me! Of course most of them involved some African prince who wanted to deposit $5 million in my bank account or offering to increase the size of my "unit" or to see girls do really disturbing thing with a turtle or something. I'm still trying to clean out all that crap while reinstalling software. I should get paid for this! I will respond to your e-mail ASAP - I swear on my "unit" I will (har, har, har)!

Jeralyn: Yup. Too many viruses for my tastes! I'm glad there are pros to fix these thing (even though they charge an arm and a microchip to do so).
I think that's an appropriate name and yes! It's creative just like I am.
