Prison Visit May Have "Negative Effects" On Ms. Hilton

Really?
Isn't that the whole point of serving prison term? I know, this is an "old" topic (Ha!), but the very idea of this woman nearly spending her prison term at home wearing an ankle-cuff makes me boil.

First, she was stopped by police for a DUI infraction (Driving Under the Influence). Her license was suspended for 3 years and she was fined appropriately. Then, nearly 2 weeks later, police stopped her again for driving through a red light without her headlights - and a suspended drivers' license.
These are serious charges. The fact that she almost got out of it is a disturbing indication that sometimes the rich and affluent are above the law. If it were you or me the judge wouldn't even waste a thought on how the prison environment would affect us.

Anyhow, I'm sure she'll be pretty happy when she gets out.

I was doing some reading lately and stats show that prior to 2002, 20-odd days was the norm for an offence such as this but due to the overcrowded jails there after 2002, the standard is about a week or so. People saying she got what she deserved while others saying that she is staying longer than the rest. What? She could have hurt/killed someone! Also the fact that her parents bypassed visitors protocol and made other visitors wait longer than usual to see inmates while mom and dad visited poor distraught Paris did not help her cause either.
What a society we live in...
Oh, sheriff, here's a couple o' hundred. Be a lad and get me a cabarnet sauvignon and mutton chops for supper, thanks, you're a dear. My parents won't forget this...

Yuk, smells like greenback, and I hate greenback (well, unless it can pay MY bills...)

Peace y'all

"Mutton chops", eh?

This is a perfect example that often justice does not treat us all the same way.

I'm not one of those types that thinks the whole judicial system should be turned on its head. Fixing some of the "leaks" in the system wouldn't hurt.

Meanwhile people are sneaking in some Beluga caviar to Ms. Hilton ...

Bia*ch!!!

Useless people. What does she contribute to society besides nothing? Oh yeah, she keeps us entertained from our otherwise 'boring' lives...

Ok you guys!

I'm not defending her for what she did but apparently, she had left the house at a young age without taking any money from her parents. She beacame who she is on her own. There was an article and was read by someone I know very well.

Of course any parent would stick by their children's side no matter what happens or happened.

Regardless of the matter, her life is her life. Hopefully she has learned her lesson.

Anyways, that's my 57cents.

Wishing you all a terrific loooong weekend!
