Special Request - A Klingon for Len

Yep. That's a bona-fide Klingon. He's a General or an Admiral or something. I worked on this guy for a long friggin' time. He's still not finished. There ya go Len. It took me a long time but I finally posted it. Enjoy! (FYI Klingons do not come from the planet Klingon. The name of their planet is Q'onos - pronounced "kronos". How's that for Trekkian, Tink?).

Now that's a picture!

I've always been a moderate(can that exist?) sci-fi fan and Star Trek (ANY generation folks) is probably my favourite of all. It captures my imagination, delves into the human spirit and explores the unknown (and I don't mean only space y'all).

The only qustion that has bothered me was this: They usually have coiffed hair and beards, but why in goodness sake do they not trim their eyebrows? What's up with that?

Peace,
Len

I can answer that one, Len, being a hairdresser and all! LOL!!

It's because they are just plain lazy! Ha ha ha!!

Actually, they think by trimming them, they'll grow more......BULL!!

Luke,

TOTALLY AWESOME dude!! One question, tho! Why the frig are you at home when you could be designing and sketching great art for someone or movie thingies.

I love your art and even tho it's phenomenal, I hate it being wasted (not for us) when it can be exposed. What talent you have, my friend!

Len! Don't you agree???

Have a good one and ciyas soon.

Ciao

Another question, why did I deserve this? What did I do to merit a hand drawn, one of a kind, flying Irishman original!
What say you all, what!?!

Oi! So many questions, so litle i da brian ... brain. Duh-huh!

Bushy eyebrows? I don't know of any "official" reason for the Klingons having bushy eyebrows. But any Trekkist knows that when Klingons party and drink too much Blood Wine, they get into some serious head-butting. The bushy eyesbrows might keep bone fragments from getting into their eyes!

Tink ... Do I really have to answer that? I "tink" you already know. (Haar-haar!!) BTW thanks for the kind (but undeserved) complients.

Len ... Len, Len, Len. Tsk, tsk. First you asked me (indirectly) for a Trek related sketch. As to the why of it ... C'mon, Doc! You have been one of the biggest contributor to my blog. Your TOTDs add an element of class to this madhouse of mine! This is a Klingon "thank you" (when next we meet I'll head-butt you!).

Y'know, I think I'll post another Trek related sketch. I recently had to re-sketch (?) it since time had ravaged it. I've been dying to show it off!

Be well, y'all ...

Luke,

Uhmmmmm!!! Let me think....Duhhhhh, yaaaa!!! You have to answer it!! Oh! You merit all I've said.

Len, I asked you a question and I didn't get my answer. Hummmm!!! Waz up??

I guess Luke answered yours!

Aye! Time me go.....

Later, mates!

Toodles.

Tink:

Okie-doakie. I figure I owe you an answer.

I can't just start "designing and sketching great art for someone or movie thingies" without training. The boring things that I used to do (business cards, letterhead, etc.) I can't do anymore. The last time my computer went on the fritz for several months, I lost the few clients that I had (so much for their so-called loyalty). To do what I want to do, I have to go back to school. There are a few schools in Montreal that offer courses in "Animation for Games and Movies". That's what I really want to do. Unfortunately, they cost lotsa dinero and that's something I don't have. The government it's as keen on giving away loans or bursaries as they were many years ago.

So, that's why I am where I am.

I hope that answers your question.

Hey Tink! If I sounded a little terse I really didn't mean to. Wow ... I just lost my own train of thought. Oh well, when I find t I'll be right back.

Toodles!

Di, OK, I agree, stop tickling me!!!!

Luke,
I asked you? Senility must be setting in for I haven't the foggiest.

But talent you have, that you do.
As for the head butt, well, I'll settle for a good ol' fashioned brew - if that's all right of course...

Luke,

I think I got an idea.

Ya got all this gr8 art in ur PC, correct?? Is there a site where you can send it to, for them to see ur work?? Any www. something thingy for "Animation for Games and Movies" ?? Any Mtl sites of some sort??? I really don't think you need courses for you are a master at what you do.

If you do send some of ur stuff to someone, they might make you take courses and they could pay for them. Just a thought, buddy. I'll see if I can check a few things out.

I know a neighbour who's a stuntman for the film industry. I can ask him for info about certain things if there is any or if he knows any.

It might not be related, but I'll try. That's all I can do.

Len, hunny. I will stop tickling you. Promise. All I'm asking is that the next time I ask you a question, answer it PRONTO, or else you'll get tickled again! LOL!!

Ciao, amici. A la prossima.
